Meeting of ruling parties ends inconclusive, decide to meet again later today

KATHMANDU, March 29: The meeting of the 10 ruling parties held at the Prime Minister’s Official residence in Baluwatar on Wednesday morning to finalize the cabinet expansion ended inconclusive.


The meeting was held again today after the discussion among the ruling parties failed to finalize the power-sharing deal on Tuesday evening.

Talking to media persons after the meeting, Chairman of Janata Samajwadi Party, Upendra Yadav, said that there has not been any agreement among parties on the expansion of the cabinet. “Now after the lunch break is over, we will sit again at 3 pm,” Yadav said. 


According to Chief Whip of Nepali Congress (NC), Ramesh Lekhak, they are still holding discussions to make their Common Minimum Program (CMP) document further precise. by 5:00 pm. "We will finalize the draft of CMP by tomorrow after making additions and deletions by the evening today,” he said. "We discussed the expansion of the cabinet. We will sit again for discussion later today.”
