WALING, August 11: Two persons died, and three others an ot injury in a road accident occurred at Malunga of Syangja district along the Siddhartha highway this afternoon.
The deceased have been identified as Janaki Thapa Magar, 75, and Krishna Bahadur Thapa, of Waling Municipality of Syangja district. He was currently living at Badganga-2 of Kapilvastu.
According to the Ward Police Office, Waling, the accident took place when a truck (Na 3 Kha 5546) heading towards Butwal from Pokhara fell some 150 meters off the road.
The injured are truck driver Bhuwan Karki, 51, of Daman Palung-5 in Makawanpur, Bhoj Prasad Tiwari, 66, of Waling-9 and Kosh Bahadur Thapa, 53, of Waling-14. They have been receiving treatment at Lumbini Medical College, Palpa. RSS
