ANNFSU campus unit president Pawan Karki was injured in the Maoist students’ atack. He sustained deep injuries in the head and face and is undergoing treatment at Gatthaghar-based Civil Hospital. According to Karki, a team of 12 students led by ANNISU(R)’s Ramesh Dhakal and Manoj Neupane beat him up.
The group has also warned of thrashing other students, too, for joining the rally, said ANNFSU’s Bhaktapur district chairman Santosh Khadka.
However, the ANNISU (R) denied the charge.
