Govt plans to ferry people in need

KATHMANDU, May 4: The government is planning to ferry the people, who want to travel from the capital city to their destination.



Jay Mukunda Khanal, spokesperson of the Home Ministry, said that the government was also working on a plan to transport people who need to be immediately moved such as those who need medication.[break]



"We will shortly come up with a detail plan and make it public how to help those who are in need of medication, who desperately want to return their villages or any other who need humanitarian support," Khanal told Republica.



The government decided to take the step amid reports that a large number of protestors are returning toward their villages in the outskirts of Kathmandu on foot and many other want to return their homes.
