The Eee PC 1005PE by ASUS has a battery life of 14 hours. It has all the features of Eee PC 1001HA, including the warranty, except it has only 160GB hard drive. It costs Rs 49,000. However, the model will be available in the market only after a few weeks.

MSI´s latest offering U160 netbooks, which has a battery life of 11 hours, is available at Rs 38,800. The netbook weighing just 1 kg has Intel Atom N450 1.6 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM expandable up to 2GB, 250 GB Hard Disk, 10 inch TFT screen, 1.3 mega pixel webcam, Bluetooth, memory card reader. It also comes with one year warranty with spare parts and service.
