KALIKOT, May 10: Sixteen RCC bridges have been constructed on the Khululu-Salisalla section of the Karnali Corridor. Khululu is in Naraharinath Rural municipality-8 and Salisalla lies in Humla.
These bridges have been built over small and big rivers and rivulets on the 123-kilometer section of the highway in a period of eight to 10 months, said Birendra Chand, the chief of the Khululu-Salisalla Road Project Office.
Revised interest rate corridor system introduced
"Eight RCC bridges have been constructed on the section of the highway from Khululu to Kawadi of Bajura while an equal number of bridges have been built on the remaining road section from Kawadi to Salisalla," he said.
According to Chand, all the bridges are six meters wide and eight meters long. All these bridges were constructed at a cost of Rs 90 million.
