Twenty-seven years old Salina Rai, wife of Dil Bahadur Rai of Baniyani-9, gave pesticide to her 4-year-old son Isha and 1.5-year-old son Ipchha before consuming it herself.
All three are being treated at Mechi Zonal Hospital in critical condition. They were taken to a local health center by neighbors after finding them unconscious in the home.
Salina´s husband had gone out when the incident took place.
The reason why Salina took the extreme move is yet to be ascertained, the police said.
