SURKHET, Nov 21: Re-voting will be held on Tuesday at the polling station of Simta Multiple Campus of Simta Rural Municipality-6 of Surkhet. Due to the mistake of the election staff, 100 ballot papers of the House of Representatives fell into the boxes of the Provincial Assembly, and the voting in three centers here was canceled.
According to Election Officer Upendra Keshar Khanal, preparations are being made to hold elections on Tuesday as the Election Commission has instructed to hold re-elections in the canceled areas within two days. He said that the decision will be made public after discussing with the concerned agencies for the re-polling areas and the security of the election.
"The Election Commission has given instructions to hold the elections in the canceled places within two days," he said, "Accordingly, we are preparing for the elections on Tuesday." There were three polling stations in Simta Multipurpose Campus in Simta. Among them, 100 voters of the House of Representatives dropped their ballot papers in the boxes of the Provincial Assembly in the "A" polling station.
