The case concerns one of the major human rights violations committed by cadres of the Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) after the peace process began in November 2006. Kathmandu-based businessman Shrestha was killed in 2008. His widow Ramila filed the murder case.The court is collecting statements from four witnesses on the defendant´s side and seven witnesses for the plaintiff. The court plans to complete collecting the statement in three days.
The court will then collect further evidence in the case.
