Yamaha introduces sporty Ray ZR scooter
KATHMANDU, Aug 30: MAW Enterprises has launched the new Cygnus Ray ZR scooter in the Nepali market.
The sooter was launched on the sidelines of the NADA Auto Show on Tuesday.
Issuing a statement, MAW Enterprises said that the new Ray ZR takes on a new exterior design characterized by a sense of dynamism and layered forms that give a fresh look like no other scooter before.
The Ray-ZR is powered by an air-cooled 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve 113cc engine.
Other features of the scooter includes 21 liter under seat storage and tubeless tires, among others.
“Scooter is the fastest growing two-wheeler segment in Nepal.
With the launch of Ray ZR, we aim to achieve up to 30 percent market share in scooter segment in the days to come,” Deepak Rauniyar, assistant general manager -- Business Development and Sales of MAW Enterprises, said in the statement.
