Vote of confidence of Sudurpaschim CM becomes uncertain as UML leaders arrives in Kathmandu

Vote of confidence of Sudurpaschim CM becomes uncertain as UML leaders arrives in Kathmandu

DHANGADI, May 4: After Rajendra Rawal, leader of UML's Sudurpaschim Parliamentary Party, and chief whip have arrived in Kathmandu on Saturday to seek advice at the top level, it appears that Chief Minister (CM) Dirgha Bahadur Sodari may not secure a vote of confidence even on Saturday.

Chief Minister Sodari had planned to seek a vote of confidence on Friday, but UML stated that Sodari's haste led them to decide against granting the vote of confidence.

Sodari was appointed as the chief minister on April 18 with the support of the CPN-UML, Maoist Center, NUP, and an independent provincial assembly member along with the CPN (Unified Socialist).
