KATHMANDU, Sept 4: Anita Pandey, the mother of 21-year-old Nepali student Muna Pandey who was shot dead in Houston, USA, is going to the US on Thursday.

Anita, who has been deeply distressed after her daughter’s death, had applied for a visa. She has now received the visa from the American embassy in Kathmandu. Muna Pandey's maternal uncle Suresh Adhikari said that the visa has been received and Anita is scheduled to go to America tomorrow (Thursday).
