Know MoreKATHMANDU, July 17: Leaders of the agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) have reiterated that they will vote for the no-confidence motion registered in parliament against the Prime Minister KP Oli-led government.
“We will extend our support in favor of the no-confidence motion as some 20 lawmakers of UDMF have already signed onto the motion,” Manish Suman, leader of UDMF, told Republica.
He also said that the UDMF will support new prime minister’s candidacy as the CPN (Maoist Centre) and Nepali Congress came forward with a written commitment to address the UDMF’s 11-point and 23-point demands.
Leaders of the UDMF have been holding talks since Saturday to devise their further plan in the changed political context.
