Two killed in motorcycle accident

CHITWAN, Oct 7: Two people have died in a road accident that took place at Hardi chowk in Rapti municipality-6. 

The incident took place on Thursday evening when a truck (Na.2Kha.6740) hit a motorcycle (Na.40Pa.707) coming from the opposite direction. Both the people travelling in the motorcycle were killed, according to the District Police Office Chitwan. 

The deceased have been identified as Sunil Gurung,19, of Birendranagar, Rapti-9 and pillion rider Sujit Gurung,17, Sunil died on the way to the hospital while Sujit died in course of treatment at the hospital the same night. 

The truck has been impounded and its driver arrested for necessary action, police said. RSS
