Til Kumar Menyangbo elected deputy leader of CPN-UML Parliamentary Party in Koshi Province

kATHMANDU, May 28: Til Kumar Menyangbo has been elected as the deputy leader of the Parliamentary Party of CPN-UML in Koshi Province. 

A meeting of the party held under the chairmanship of Hikmat Kumar Karki, the leader of the UMLParliamentary Party in Koshi Province and the Chief Minister of Koshi Province, on Tuesday elected Menyangbo as the deputy leader of the party.

Earlier, Ram Rana was the deputy leader of the UML Parliamentary Party in Koshi Province. After Rana was appointed as the Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning, the responsibility of the deputy leader of the Parliamentary Party was given to Menyangbo by the UML Parliamentary Party Secretary Kamala Darnal Rana. Menyangbo is a member of the UML Political Bureau. He was elected as a member of the Provincial Assembly from Taplejung. 

Similarly, the meeting has formed a five-member working group to provide suggestions on the policy and programs of the Provincial Government to be presented in the Provincial Assembly for the upcoming fiscal year. 

The Parliamentary Party meeting also formed a five-member working group under the coordination of deputy leader Menyangbo. The working group includes Kamala Darnal, Provincial Assembly member Tilchan Pathak, Indramani Parajuli, and Jayaprakash Chaudhary as members. The working group will provide suggestions on what budget policy and programs the government should present in the Provincial Assembly for the upcoming fiscal year.
