Know MoreMELAMCHI, July 20: Three persons, who were buried by the landslide that fell off from a roadside at Mahankan VDC-8 in Sindhupalchowk district, were rescued today.
Shanti Tamang, Krishna Tamang and Bishnumaya Tamang of Mahankal VDC-6 in the district were buried under the landslide as they were walking along the road, according to Area Police Office, Melamchi.
They were rescued by a joint effort of the personnel from Nepal Police, Nepal Army, Melamchi Drinking Water Project and locals.
While Shanti Tamang and Krishna Tamang were seriously hurt in the incident and were sent to Trauma Centre in the capital city for further treatment, Bishnumaya received treatment at the local health centre at Melamchi, shared Police Inspector Niraj Dangi. RSS
