Three arrested with 51.5 kg of marijuana in Hetauda
KATHMANDU, Aug 1: Three people were arrested in possession of 51.5 kg of marijuana in Ratomate, Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-15.
The arrests took place during a vehicle check of a vehicle numbered (Pradesh 03-001 Cha 2116), traveling from Hetauda to Pathlaiya. The arrested individuals include Binod Sewa, 34, and Sunita Tamang, 35, both residents of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City. Additionally, Musadev Alam, 30, from India’s Betia District, an auto driver, was arrested with 18.5 kg of marijuana.
The information was provided by Laxmi Bhandari, spokesperson for the District Police Office.
