Know MoreKATHMANDU, Aug 15: The spokesperson for the CPN (Unified Socialist), Jagannath Khatiwada, has clarified that there is no discussion on unification with any party for the time being. However, he acknowledged that despite reviewing the problematic situation among the communist parties, the issue of unification has been mentioned.
“It is our policy to increase the activities of the Socialist Front and continue to take initiatives to promote minimum cooperation among the leftists. There is nothing more than that," spokesperson Khatiwada said in a press note.
He also said that people should not be carried away by the propaganda of party unity. "All political parties have their own strategies; we should not be influenced by them," he said, "The pen symbol is our special identity, and the party will not do anything to erase this identity."
