Know MoreKIMATHANKA, June 6: A minor has died after being swept by the Wang river in Syaksila Gola, Bhotkhola Rural Municipality-4, Sankhuwasabha.
Inspector Rajkumar Lamichhane, Information Officer at District Police Office, Sankhuwasabha, said that Buddhasiyan Lama, 4, of Chyamtang, Bhotkhola-2 passed away after being swept away by Wang river.
He was studying in grade 1 at Krishna Secondary School in Syaksila Gola. Lama went to play at the nearby playground with his friends on Wednesday.
His body has been taken to District Hospital, Sankhuwasabha for post-mortem examination. The place of incident is two days walking distance from the district headquarters of Khandbari.
