Know MoreKATHMANDU, June 18: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden tore apart the budget booklet of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport in the rostrum. While participating in a discussion on the budget in the House of Representatives (HoR) on Tuesday, he tore apart the budget booklet.
Lingden said, “Generally, I consider myself as an even-tempered person. Sometimes I do get angry, but it fades quickly and I calm down. However, since the day I received the budget booklet from the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure, I have been so agitated that I feel like tearing it apart and throwing it away. But, knowing that it would be against parliamentary decorum to do so, I am placing it here (on the podium) instead."
