Rhino 500D steel rebar launched in Nepal

KATHMANDU, Aug 25: Jagadamba Steels Pvt Ltd, on Wednesday, launched the Rhino 500D Steel Rebar in Nepal.

Issuing a statement, Jagadamba Steels said the newly-launched 500D rebar is ‘the new generation high-strength and ductile-ribbed reinforcement bar’ and is different from other ‘normal’ rebars in its method of ‘manufacturing, combination of both physical and chemical properties’.

According to the statement, speaking at the launch of the rebar, Shahil Agrawal, the managing director of Jagadamba Steels said: “To cope with the big challenge of safe and earthquake resistant construction Jagdamba Steel has introduced Rhino 500D High Ductile Steel Rebar in the grade Fe 500D which is the first and only of its kind of High Strength and High Ductile Rebar introduced in Nepal.”
