Resonance of Hues celebrates Nepali artistry at Vivanta Creatives

KATHMANDU, Aug 12: The Chaudhary Group Foundation's Unnati Cultural Village is proud to present "Resonance of Hues," a dynamic group art exhibition featuring the works of eight prominent contemporary Nepali artists. Hosted at Vivanta Creatives – A Space for Art in Kathmandu, the exhibition will run from August 10 to October 1, with an inauguration organized on August 10.

Curated by Roshan Bhandari, the Art & Culture Manager at Unnati Cultural Village, Resonance of Hues offers a captivating exploration of Nepali culture, traditions, and daily life through a diverse array of artistic expressions. The exhibition seamlessly weaves together traditional and modern elements, creating an immersive experience that celebrates the rich tapestry of Nepali heritage.

The inauguration event was a memorable occasion, beginning with the ceremonial lighting of the Panas and followed by speeches from distinguished guests. The event was chaired by Surabhi Chaudhary, who emphasized the power of collaboration in achieving "Public-Private Partnership for the People and the Planet." 

Binod Chaudhary, who delivered the closing remarks, extended his best wishes to Unnati and its initiatives in art, craft, and culture. The event was further honored by the presence of Sarika Chaudhary and Rahul Chaudhary. 

Ravi Nischal, the General Manager of Vivanta Kathmandu, expressed his happiness about the collaboration and highlighted the significance of the Unnati Cultural Village. A captivating musical performance by Sur Sudha added a unique dimension to the evening, elevating the experience for all attendees.

Resonance of Hues is more than just an art exhibition; it is a platform for fostering a deeper appreciation of Nepali art, providing contemporary artists with an opportunity to showcase their work, and creating a culturally enriched environment within the Vivanta hotel space. The exhibition features an impressive lineup of artists, including Dr Seema Sharma Shah, Umashankar Shah, Namrata Singh, Manju Khadka, Sujan Dangol, Sushma Shakya, Samjhana Rajbhandari, and Abhijeet Prajapati.

CG Foundation has invited art enthusiasts, cultural connoisseurs, and the general public to join in celebrating the beauty and diversity of Nepali art at Resonance of Hues at The Hotel Vivanta Kathmandu, from 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM, from August 10 to October 11. “This exhibition offers a unique convergence of tradition and modernity, providing an enriching experience for all who attend,” reads a press statement issued by the organizer.
