KATHMANDU, Nov 11: Minister for Urban Development Arjun Narsingh KC has stated that the government policy encourages the private sector to enhance effectiveness of the transportation sector. 

Inaugurating the bus services operated by the Samakhushi Transportation Entrepreneurs Association here today, Minister KC reiterated the government's commitment towards reliable transportation service by reforming the system. 

KC urged the transportation entrepreneurs to support the cause of change in the transportation system of the country abiding by the acts and laws related to transportation. 

Assuring them of security of their investment, Minister KC argued that transportation entrepreneurs should prioritize the service seekers and their welfare. 

Also, speaking at the program, parliamentarian Jagadishwar Narsingh KC, Nepali Congress Kathmandu Chapter President Sabuj Baniya among others underscored to render effective transportation service to increase the confidence of the public on public transportation system. 

A new fleet of 10 buses have been introduced by the Association. RSS
