Prime Minister's efforts to resolve House impasse remain inconclusive

KATHMANDU, May 27: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal's discussions with both ruling and opposition parties today aimed at resolving the impasse in the House have ended inconclusively.

PM Dahal held separate and joint meetings with opposition and ruling parties at the Prime Minister's Residence in Baluwatar. Despite these efforts, no agreement was reached, and leaders indicated they would reconvene for further discussions this evening.

Nepali Congress (NC) leaders, who participated in the talks with the Prime Minister, plan to consult with party President Sher Bahadur Deuba this afternoon.

NC General Secretary Gagan Thapa stated that he will discuss the matter with the party president and other leaders today to finalize the mandate of the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee.

Joint General Secretary of NC , Jeewan Pariyar, reaffirmed that they have maintained their stance on the cooperative fraud case.
