Police free Indian national from kidnapper’s clutches

KASKI, Sept 3: An Indian national, who was kidnapped by a gang on Sunday, has been rescued.

Police have rescued Khurshid Ahmad aka Sonu of Uttar Pradesh, India and also arrested two persons for their alleged involvement in the kidnapping.

Acting on a complaint, a team of police deployed from District Police Office, Kaski had rescued Ahmad from a house in Lekhnath-8 on Monday. Police had also recovered a pistol from the house.

During investigation, police arrested Shahabuddin Kuseri, 25, of Uttar Pradesh and currently living in Pokhara. Likewise, Arun Ghale, 21, of Kaswasoti-11 of Nawalparasi district was arrested on the charge of the abduction. 

Police said they are searching for other culprits involved in the crime.
