Know MoreKATHMANDU, Sept 20: Private Secretariat of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has expressed concern over the reports of the alleged meeting of PM Dahal with the main accused in Tikapur violence during former's recent India visit.
The reports of the meeting between PM Dahal and the accused Resham Chaudhary during a reception organised by Indian business community during PM's visit came to the fore following the coverage of the reception by Nepali media.
PM's press advisor Gobinda Acharya, however, clarified that PM was not scheduled to meet Chaudhary during the visit and it was unintentional.
"It remains unknown that who and for what purpose would meet PM in public programmes.
It is not appropriate to comment on the issue," he said, claiming that although PM gave Chaudhary a handshake, he (PM) had no talks with him. RSS
