Him Kumari, 72, of Suryagadhi Rural Municipality-3, was swept away by the river and went missing on Monday while taking bath in the Suryamati (Tadi) River in the temple complex.
Shanti Raj Koirala, head of the District Police Office, said that a team of security personnel with the help of local residents, found the dead body in the Tadi River at Godapul, Dupcheswor-6.
Adhikari, who had come from Kathmandu with her family to visit the temple, went missing after being swept away by the river.
