Pedestrian killed in road accident

DAMAK, Nov 29: A pedestrian was killed after getting rammed by a Scorpio SUV at Shivastasi Municipality – 5 of Jhapa last night. 

The deceased has been identified as Indra Bahadur Koirala, 62, of Dharampur – 9 of Jhapa. The SUV (Me 1 Cha 4001) was heading east from west when it hit Koirala at 7 pm. 

Koirala, who sustained serious injuries, died after reaching the Life Line Hospital in Damak, police said. The driver of the SUV has been detained by Area Police Office, Jhiljhile. RSS
