The parliamentary committee has begun recording statements from operational members and other individuals implicated in the case.

The committee is also scheduled to interrogate Gita Sharma, CB Lama, and Nunam Subba today.

On Friday, statements were taken from individuals associated with Gautam Shree Multipurpose Cooperatives, Laligurans Multipurpose Cooperatives, and Gorkha Saving Cooperatives.

The committee, which is required to conclude its investigation within three months, has completed the evidence collection and preliminary procedures. It has now started recording statements from those accused of involvement in the fraud, including those currently imprisoned.

Previously, the committee directed the Home Ministry to extradite 18 individuals involved in the fraud who had fled to foreign countries.
