One killed by lightning strike

DANG, Sept 13: A man was killed and other two were injured when lightning struck the house of a local resident Juddha Kumari KC at Pegha of Baghmare-3 in Dang this morning. The incident took place while all of the victims were in the house.

The deceased has been identified as Paban, 16-year-old son of Juddha Kumari.

KC, who suffered lightning injuries to his chest, waist and hands, died in the course of treatment at Rapti Zonal Hospital, police said. Other injured are Juddha Kumari and her daughter Renuka. RSS
