One dead, four injured in car-bus collision

KAWASOTI, Oct 13: A woman was killed while four people were injured in a car and passenger-bus collision at Lokaha Bridge in Nawalparasi district along the East-West Highway on Wednesday night. 

The deceased has been identified as Narayani Adhikari, 40, of Prasauni-2 in the district who was travelling in a car as the incident took place. 

Adhikari, who sustained serious injuries on head, died while undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Medical College, according to the Area Police Office, Nawalpur. 

The incident occurred when a passenger-bus (Na 4 Kha 7799) coming from Pokhara to Nepalgunj collided with a car (Ba 13 Cha 1617) coming from the opposite direction, according to Assistant Sub Inspector of Police Tikaram Poudel. 

Similarly, others injured in the incident have returned home after receiving treatment at the local health facility, police said. RSS
