Oli dodges questions over Giri Bandhu case, tells media to 'ask Balen'

KATHMANDU, June 3: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli on Monday dodged questions regarding the Giri Bandhu scam and instead pointed to Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah (Balen). This response came during an interaction with media personnel at the Parliament building on Monday.

When asked about the Giri Bandhu Tea Estate land case, Oli responded angrily saying, "ask Balen," and declined to provide further comments. His reaction followed accusations by mayor Shah on social media that Oli was diverting attention from the scandal involving the Giri Bandhu Tea Estate land case.
