In a press statement issued today, Bahadur Singh Lama, the NC’s parliamentary party leader in Bagmati Province, demanded CM Jamkattel’s resignation, stating that the CPN-UML has withdrawn its support to his government, resulting in his government falling into a minority.
The two largest parties in the federal parliament, the NC and the CPN-UML, have agreed to form an alliance to establish new governments at both the federal and provincial levels.
According to the agreement between the two parties, the NC will lead the government in Bagmati Province.
