Rajani Chad, 13, and Ashmita Chad, 12, residents of Swala, Shivanath Rural Municipality, went missing while bathing in the river.
A team of the security forces deployed from the APF Nepal Border Outpost (BOP), Kushmauta found the dead body of Rajani.
Sailendra Thapa, the APF’s co-spokesperson said that a search operation for the missing girl is underway.
