Missing Daughter of Dhangadhi Mayor Gopal Hamal found in Goa

KATHMANDU, March 27: The daughter of Mayor Gopal Hamal of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City has been found.

Aarti, Mayor Hamal's eldest daughter, who had been out of touch since Monday, has been reached in Goa, India.

Mayor Hamal, in a Facebook status update, mentioned that his daughter has been found safe, but her health condition is poor.

"I would like to inform all well-wishers that my eldest daughter Aarti has been found safely in Goa due to everyone's search efforts, but her health condition is poor," Hamal wrote. "I express my gratitude to all the individuals assisting in the search, including the helpful Nepali brothers and sisters living in Goa."

After his daughter became unreachable, Mayor Hamal appealed to everyone for assistance.
