Know MoreKATHMANDU, Sept 1: Minister for Health Gagan Thapa on Thursday inspected the Bir Hospital in the Capital City.
During the sudden inspection, Minister Thapa directed the employee and doctors at the hospital to present a 100-day work plan for improvement of the country’s oldest hospital.
“I will visit here time and again to check if works are being done as per the work plan after it is formulated,” Thapa said, directing officials to prepare a list of works to be done for an immediate improvement.
Showing a picture in his mobile, Minister Thapa said, “The hospital’s restrooms are in dilapidated condition.”
“An employee from the hospital sent me this picture on Facebook. Is this restroom usable?” he questioned.
