Man dies in motorcycle accident in Jumla
JUMLA, June 9: One person has been killed in a motorcycle accident in Patarasi Rural Municipality, Jumla. The motorcycle (Ka 1 Pa 2077) met with an accident in Tallo Larpo, Patarasi Rural Municipality-5 at 8:30 PM on Saturday.
Umesh Chandra, the information officer of the District Police Office, confirmed that Min Bahadur Budha, 29, a resident of Patarasi-5, succumbed to the injuries sustained in the accident.
According to police reports, Budha was severely injured and died while receiving medical attention at Karnali Academy of Health Sciences in Jumla. Budha's relatives promptly rushed him to the academy using an ambulance provided by the rural municipality.
Investigations revealed that the motorcycle veered off the road, falling about 75 meters into the Juwa River, as a result of losing control on the narrow and rugged road.
