Spokesperson at the District Police Office, Makawanpur, Deputy Superintendent of Police Laxmi Bhandari informed RSS that the road has been obstructed due to landslides at Lamrang of Bakaiya Rural Municipality-11 in Makwanpur today.
DSP Bhandari said that work is underway to remove the landslide debris in coordination with the Road Division Office.
Meanwhile, Nepal Police has rescued four persons stranded in the Rapti rivulet at Dillipur of Manahari Rural Municipality-5 in Makwanpur last night.
Acting on a tip-off, a joint team of the Area Police Office Newarpani, Area Police Office Manahari, Bagmati Province Disaster Management Gulm Thanabharyang, Armed Police Force 14 Battalion Makwanpur and Nepal Army's Superstar Barracks rescued them.
Bhandari said that the team rescued all the four people stranded on the Rapti banks.
