JSP to conduct four-month campaign aiming to add 500,000 new members

KATHMANDU, Aug 12: The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal has decided to launch a basic organization-building campaign with a target of adding 500,000 new active members.

The Central Committee (CC) meeting held at the central office in Mahalaxmisthan on Monday decided to launch the four-month campaign. The campaign, which is set to be inaugurated by JSP Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav in the first week of August, will continue until the end of November.

For the next four months, the entire party structure of JSP Nepal, which is currently out of central and state power, will focus on building the organization. To support this effort, JSP Nepal has also provided one-day training for its central leadership.

On the second day of the CC meeting, which has been ongoing since Sunday, 215 CC members were trained on organization-building.

During the training, Chairman Upendra Yadav instructed the entire party to build, expand, and improve the organization over the next four months. He directed central members to actively contribute to making the campaign organized, effective, and result-oriented.

Yadav emphasized that the campaign aims to strengthen the organization and counter the illusions spread by those who have split the party for personal gain. He also noted that the campaign will target various levels, including villages, towns, cities, municipalities, provinces, and federal regions.

According to JSP Nepal, necessary programs such as membership distribution, organization building and mobilization, training, seminars, and public meetings will be conducted across the country.
