KATHMANDU, Aug 9: The Janamat Party has sought an explanation from Satish Singh, the chief minister (CM) of Madhesh Province. 

Stating that the ministries were distributed without coordinating with the party, Dr Sharad Singh Yadav, the party’s spokesperson, said that an explanation has been asked from Singh on Friday.

Spokesperson Yadav said, “He distributed the ministries with the ruling party without coordinating with the party. An explanation has been asked after the party drew attention to this matter.” He also said that even though the party drew the attention of the ministers to work in the favor of the people to achieve results, it appears that time is being spent on unnecessary inaugurations rather than work.

Yadav said, “The CM has ignored the instructions given by the party, and has frequently damaged the image of the Janamat Party by making controversial statements about granting Rs 50 million to the provincial assembly members during the budget formulation. This matter has also been included in the explanation.”
