Kaliman Khatri, an 80-year-old resident of Bheri Municipality-6, succumbed to his injuries during treatment at Karnali Province Hospital in Surkhet.
The accident happened at 3 PM when a Bolero jeep (Ga 1 Ja 7711) traveling from Khalanga to Neta Bazar in Bheri Municipality-6, veered off the road and plunged 400 meters.
Man Bahadur Oli, the 34-year-old driver from Bheri Municipality-6, died at the scene.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Purushottam Prasad Pandey of the District Police Office Jajarkot confirmed that the injured are being treated at the District Hospital in Jajarkot.
