KATHMANDU, Aug 24: Indian Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Raksha Nikhil Khadse, who visited the TU Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj to assess the condition of the injured in Indian tourist bus accident in Anbu Khaireni in Tanahun district, was met by Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak. 

Home Minister Lekhak also visited TU Teaching Hospital to meet the injured and obtain information about their health condition. After the meeting, Home Minister Lekhak said that the Indian tourists involved in the accident were from the constituency of Minister Khadse. “Indian Minister of State has arrived in Kathmandu to meet the victims. People involved in the accident are from her own constituency,” he said.

Home Minister Lekhak stated that while the condition of one or two of the injured remains serious, the condition of the others is gradually improving. He also mentioned that discussions have taken place regarding sending the bodies of the deceased to India. A total of 27 people lost their lives in the tragic accident on Friday.
