Grade increment examination for Grade XII scheduled for September 10 and 11

KATHMANDU, Aug 3: The National Examination Board has scheduled the Grade Increment Examination for Grade XII on September 10 and 11.

Students, who wish to participate in the re-examinations, are advised to fill out the required forms.

According to the results published on Friday, 47.09 percent of students received a non-grade or failed the exams, while 52.91 percent passed. A total of 390,868 regular students—193,933 boys and 196,914 girls—appeared for the exams, which began on April 14. Of these, 203,847 students passed.

The number of students who did not receive a grade is 187,021 (47.09 percent). Additionally, the examination for 102 students was canceled.

Only students who received a non-grade in two or fewer subjects, or those who secured a minimum of a ‘D’ grade in theoretical exams, or were absent in two subjects, will be eligible to participate in the re-exams.
