Five dengue cases reported in Urlabari

URLABARI (Morang), Nov 10: A total of five people have been found infected with dengue in Urlabari area of Morang district.

Bikram Sunar, Ram Kumar Rai, Kamala Shrestha, Sarita Thapa and Laxmi Sah in the district were confirmed as infected. 

Dengue was confirmed in them after conducting blood check-up, said the district public health office. 
Dengue, a vector-borne viral infection, is transmitted by the bite of an Aedes mosquito. The disease mostly affects infants, young children and elderly people. 

Meanwhile, a campaign has been launched to destroy the larva of the mosquito in various parts of the district. RSS
