Failure to agree on power balance halted unification: Rana

KATHMANDU, Aug 13: President of Rastriya Prajatantra Party Pashupati Shumsher JB Rana has said that the unification with RPP Nepal could not take place for failure to agree on the balance of power.

Speaking at an interaction organized by Sambad Club Nepal here today, leader Rana said the unification stopped after RPP Nepal did not agree to balance of the function, duties and rights of the national chairperson and executive chairperson of the new party.

"The unification process with RPP Nepal has not ended but just postponed", he said.

On a different note, he also said that the Supplies Minister Dipak Bohara, who represents the party in the government, has been directed to facilitate supplies of essential goods in the market. RSS
