Know MoreKATHMANDU, March 17: Education Minister Sumana Shrestha has issued a warning regarding the evaluation of employees benefiting from nepotism and favoritism. She emphasized that the evaluation score of such employees will be reduced by 0.5.
Furthermore, Minister Shrestha cautioned against the use of nepotism and favoritism for unfair appointments, unnecessary transfers, or promotions within the Ministry of Education or its subsidiary bodies, as well as through political affiliations. Any attempt to manipulate the system using her name or through the involvement of employees will result in a deduction of 0.5 marks from the individual's evaluation score.
She emphasized the importance of reporting directly with evidence if anyone attempts to misuse her name for personal gains such as admissions or scholarships. Minister Shrestha pledged to take decisive action against such individuals.
Additionally, she also said not to follow rumors and misinformation, emphasizing the need for focusing on achieving tangible results.
