Driver dies, one injured in minitruck accident in Rolpa
KATHMANDU, July 10: A person has died in a minitruck accident in Rolpa.
According to the District Police Office, Rolpa, the deceased has been identified as the minitruck driver Mahesh Thapa, 32, of Nigalpani, Runtigadhi Rural Municipality-6.
According to the police, the minitruck (Ra 1 Kha 2139) met with an accident on Tuesday night along the inner road section connecting Sawadanda to Dubaring via Holeri in Runtigadhi Rural Municipality-6. Police said that Thapa died on the spot.
Similarly, Sujan Rawat, 8, sustained injuries in the accident. Police said that he has sustained head and back injuries. However his condition is normal and currently undergoing treatment at the Primary Health Center, Holeri.
