Dinesh DC assumes office as Chairman of Film Development Board

KATHMANDU, Sep 2: Newly appointed Chairman of the Film Development Board (FDB), Dinesh Raj Dahal, alias Dinesh DC, has officially assumed office on Monday.

During the ceremony held in FDBs hall, staff and officials welcomed him with garlands. Representatives from various film-related organisations, including the Nepal Motion Picture Association Nepal, Film Artists Association of Nepal, the Film Director’s Guild of Nepal, and Film Producers Association, along with other film industry professionals, were also present to congratulate him.

Upon assuming office, DC pledged to do his best to address the problems of the Nepali film sector.

The Cabinet meeting appointed Dinesh DC, who has been active in the film and media industry for a long time,  as the chairman of the FDB last Thursday.
