Cold affecting normal life in far-western Tarai

DHANGADHI, Dec 9: Increasing cold along with dense fog and cold wave in the districts of the far western Terai including Kailali has badly affected the normal life.

The cold wave in the daytime and thick fog in the evening has resulted in sudden dip in temperature in the areas, is learnt.

Mercury has dropped around eight degrees Celsius these days, said Ram Mani Mishra, chief of Meteorology office, Attariya.

Likewise, the flights to and from the western Terai districts have been either disrupted or delayed due to poor visibility.

Meanwhile, the normal life has also been affected by the agitation launched by Tharuhat-Tharuwan Protest Committee for few days.

They have agitated against the constitution amendment bill registered by the government in the parliament. RSS
