Know MoreKATHMANDU, Nov 27: A meeting of the Council of Ministers called to discuss the constitution amendment proposal before filing it at the Parliament Secretariat ended without entering the formal agenda on Sunday afternoon.
The meeting didn’t discuss the amendment proposal after Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal told the meeting that it was necessary to hold discussions with all the political parties before registering the amendment proposal.
PM Dahal didn’t present the proposal at the meeting, according to Minister for Population and Environment Jayadev Joshi.
“The Prime Minister said of filing the constitution amendment proposal only in an agreement among all the parties,” Minister Joshi told Republica Online.
